Hey Bree, I’m sorry you had to go through that kind of crap! And go through it alone! I’ve heard that violence doesn’t solve all things or anything!…something like that, I don’t know! That’s just what i’ve heard, don’t put much thought into it, though! No doubt, you have many, many fan’s, maybe these punks need some “counseling” from your FAN’S!…just a thought!:) Maybe you need a “Personal Assistant/Bodyguard!…again, just a thought! I AM between jobs, at the moment!:) It just, pisses me off…someone would make you so upset and angry that it causes you to shed, even one tear! I’m sure it hasn’t turned out how THEY expected it would, either! Hopefully, crap like this won’t happen again!…but, these are BAD times we live in and unfortunately, it might happen again! Hey, Bree. This story stuck in my head after I read it … I mean, clearly these guys are assholes who’ll pretty much do anything to create some kind of drama for their show. I saw the video clip when you freaked out on them, and obviously whatever tape they gave you was bogus. So I’m imagining this dumb-ass camera guy thinking, “Holy shit! I’ve got Bree Olson freaking out on camera! This is even BETTER than tricking her into getting some guy off!”

I had to sit with this story for a while to realize why it bothered me so much. And it eventually hit me that it’s because they treated you as less than a person, and I hate that. I know you fuck on film (beautifully, btw), but at that moment, I understood how you would feel more used by Opie and Anthony than by any hardcore director. Because it wasn’t your sexuality they wanted–they wanted to break you down, to establish some kind of adolescent dominance over a woman who probably intimidates and simultaneously arouses them.

So I dunno, Bree. You know? I’m sorry that something like that happened to you, of course, but I’m also sorry that we’ve set up this crazy celebrity meat grinder where that kind of nasty, degrading trick is secondary only to the painful fallout. For what it’s worth, from a guy who doesn’t and probably never will know you, I think you deserve much, much better from the world than that. We all do.

I’m glad you gave us some context. I can’t stand these talent-less radio losers. They make their living by being hurtful and humiliating unsuspecting people.
I don’t blame you for losing your temper that day, and I think you’re handling it well.
On a side note, I love your work and even though I’m not blind….

The radio folks seem like self-important/aggrandizing, inconsiderate adolescents at best.
I wonder if they have the decency to show you the respect you deserve by apologizing or otherwise comment on the air to give an acount that acknowledges the intrinsic dignity you and all other adult entertainers have and deserve that is accurate.
Why do they feel the liberty to exploit “babes” with impunity as a class of lesser humanity? I wish I could have given you a clean Kleenex and hailed a cab for you. To preempt a repeat, ask the management to review this and perhaps turn this into a redemptive legacy. By the way, I think you are a VERY lovely lady and a hard working, talented professional that deserves the status you have in the industry. It is a shame that these folks are propped up by stars and organizers that probably work alot harder than they do. Your incisive and probative inquires demonstrated your intelligent, prudent and poised handling of a very awkward situation that few would have handled as well. You might say they tried to “twist” ( the story ) with a “Twistys” babe. BIG MISTAKE! Take them on firmly Special Lady with a reconciling disposition to “straighten” this/them out. The best!

Really sorry to read this Bree.
It’s nice to read a ‘human’ story from an industry where people seem to forget about peoples feelings (even if the story is sad)
There will always be idiots trying to take advantage of of a young woman.
I hope you don’t have to go through anything like this again.
